Yes, this is an online practice, and consultations are conducted via video calls in a secure and dedicated patient portal.

During your free 20-minute discovery call, we’ll discuss your health goals, challenges and what kind of programme would be right for you. I’ll answer your questions and by the end of the call, you’ll have clarity about your next steps – even if it’s not with me.

Initial consultations are 90 minutes with a 30-minute session to go through your plan.
You will also need to allow time to complete a medical history questionnaire prior to your consultation so we make best use of the consultation time.
Follow-up sessions depend on how we design your package but are typically 30 - 60 minutes.

No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to work with me.

To create a personalised nutrition plan I need to understand your health concerns and history, your current dietary habits and lifestyle, and your health or performance goals. From the information you share with me, my job is to identify what will make the biggest difference to your health. Your personalised plan includes specific recommendations with clear guidance on the steps to take and what to prioritise. I tailor how much to include based on what is manageable for you over a few weeks. After each review session I update your plan to include next steps so that over time your knowledge grows, and you become confident in your new way of life. I always explain the ‘why’ behind my recommendations, so you build your knowledge and understanding of nutrition each step of the way.

I will always recommend food first and aim to ensure my clients get sufficient nutrients from their diet. However, there are circumstances where supplements can be helpful. For example, we may recommend a supplement when there is a deficiency, and food alone will not deliver enough to address it; in this case the supplement is a short-term strategy. Sometimes, supplements are contraindicated due to medications.

There is wide variation in the length of time clients work with me. For some, 2-3 months is sufficient to address their needs. For others, either with more complex needs, or with longer-term goals, it can be 6-12 months. Some clients choose to work with me over a few years.

Testing is not essential in every case but is often beneficial. Some of the functional tests we use are blood tests, nutrigenomics tests, stool tests, and hormone tests. Any test recommendations are based on your health challenges and goals. Testing can inform us which systems might not be functioning optimally, and which dietary or lifestyle strategies will be most effective for you.
Blood testing for individual markers is from £40 and test panels of multiple markers typically range from £150 - £400. Other functional tests typically range from £200 - £500. I obtain the best pricing possible for you, passing on all practitioner discounts I can.

I am willing to collaborate with other practitioners in your healthcare team. Every practitioner has their own process so what is possible will depend on the other parties involved.

Sessions can sometimes be arranged outside my usual hours, but availability is not guaranteed. I aim to accommodate client needs wherever possible.

The underlying approach of optimising metabolic health is consistent across all three areas; however, each requires a different emphasis, and depth of understanding of the relevant context.

I design bespoke packages designed to meet each client’s individual needs whilst being mindful of any budgetary constraints.
